Brockwell Hall
London

Brockwell Park and Mansion is undergoing a major restoration of its Georgian Grade II* listed mansion. Despite 125 years of public access to the park, the building has long been underused, overlooked and underappreciated. The restoration project led by PRS Architects will revitalise Brockwell Hall, delivering numerous community benefits and activities, while offering a fresh perspective on the landscape and its significance within London.

GuM is developing interpretation and exhibition design throughout this historic building, highlighting its history, local stories and traditions. All content has been crafted in close partnership with the local community to connect the stories of present-day park users with the history of the site. A ‘Brockwell Park Trail’ has been introduced to encourage further exploration of the surrounding landscape.

Work on the building began on-site in January 2023, with a planned reopening in Spring 2025.
