1
Strategic
GuM will start from first principles – be it an analysis of your collection, your building, or advice on where to find funding. We can interpret, display or re-display, design an archive, a permanent or temporary exhibition gallery, help with a guide book, or design merchandise for your shop - or design you a shop if you don’t have one. We can suggest strategies for the labelling of an object or for improving your accessibility, design a café, and the menu too. GuM is the full service from the first glimmer of an idea, to the first visitor through the door.
2
Sensitive
Some projects require the sensitive presentation of both an exhibition and the building – often the largest object in the collection – and the GuM philosophy is to bring the display and building together in complete harmony, whether it is an existing – possibly historic or listed building, re-presenting an established collection or even a new collection presented in a new building. We see this overlap as the opportunity to present a Gallery or Museum and its contents in a more integrated and sensitive style, and in instances where it is important that interface between exhibition design and building is seamless, GuM will work in association with Pringle Richards Sharratt Architects, their sister company to provide a fully integrated and designed project.
3
Stimulating
GuM’s approach is to provide a stylish and uplifting experience across all ages and abilities – to make a gallery or museum visit stimulating and memorable. GuM aims to inspire repeat visits and create a loyal audience by providing an intriguing narrative, and a vibrant learning environment.

Harmonic
GuM will bring together and manage a bespoke hand-picked team of specialists to suit the requirements of each specific project. Harmony means being in-tune, on the same wavelength, cordial, simpatico. GuM will work in harmony with their clients and specialists to create and deliver a unique project.
