William Morris Gallery Learning Centre

The learning centre at the William Morris Gallery serves all age groups, including schools and lifelong learning. The whole of the top floor is given over to learning facilities, including two craft studios (one for wet craft), a lecture theatre, a research room, a resource centre and lavatories for school parties. The lecture theatre houses 40 persons and each craft studio 15. The gallery has an extensive learning programme, which is complemented by the exhibition displays in the galleries, which are designed to be equally accessible to schoolchildren, adults and specialist researchers.

Researchers can use the research room which is a quiet area and documents can be brought up from the conditioned collections store in the basement by lift.
